THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE (1) TO ENCOURAGE, FOSTER AND MAINTAIN THE INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC IN THE PATIENTS AND THE SUPPORT OF THE WORK OF THE HOSPITAL BY MEANS OF VOLUNTARY SERVICE, (2) TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPLEMENTING IN SUCH MANNER AS THE COMMITTEE THINKS FIT THE RESOURCES OF THE BRIDLINGTON AND DISTRICT HOSPITAL, (3) TO PROVIDE A LINK BETWEEN THE BRIDLINGTON AND DISTRICT HOSPITAL AND THE COMMUNITY WHICH IT SERVES, (4) TO ENCOURAGE INTER-COMMUNICATION AND CO-OPERATION WITH OTHER FRIENDS OF HOSPITALS OR WITH OTHER SIMILAR BODIES, AND (5) TO DO ALL SUCH OTHER THINGS AS ARE INCIDENTAL OR CONDUCIVE TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS OR ANY OF THEM
