Tonbridge Civic Society's main interest is in the care for the beauty, history and character of Tonbridge and its vicinity. It keeps a record of listed and important buildings. It maintains contact with the local Council to maintain high standards of architecture and town planning. It presents awards for high standards of design, promotes footpaths and cycleways. It publishes a regular newsletter.
