Charitable objects
A) TO PROMOTE AND ORGANISE CONCERTED ACTION FOR THE PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF THE LANDSCAPE AND NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE LAKE DISTRICT AND THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA AS A WHOLE. B) TO CO-OPERATE WITH OTHER BODIES HAVING SIMILAR OBJECTS OR INTERESTS, PROVIDED THAT IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ASSOCIATIONS OBJECTS THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME TAKE ACTION CONCERNING AREAS NEAR BUT OUTSIDE THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA.
