TO PROVIDE INTEREST FREE LOANS TO OFFICERS WHO ARE SERVING IN ANY POLICE FORCE FOR THE TIME BEING AND FROM TIME TO TIME MAINTAINED FOR AN AREA WHICH INCLUDES ANY PART OF THE AREA OF THE FORMER WEST YORKSHIRE CONSTABULARY AND WHO ARE IN TEMPRARY FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY.
