The charity money is a peppercorn rent attached to several older properties in the parish. This dates back several hundred years and was initially for the poor of the parish. The money collected is now distriuted between the Vicar of Ipstones (-+?1 per year), The School Trustees (-+?1 per Year) with the remainder going to a group who hold auctions to rasie money for the Senior Citizens of parish
