DEED OF APPOINTMENT DATED 28TH MARCH 1956, AS AMENDED ON 6 FEBRUARY 2002 BY A RESOLUTION PASSED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 75 OF THE CHARITIES ACT 1993.
Charitable objects
INCOME FOR 1) THE LIGHTING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE JUBILEE LAMP PRESENTED TO THE PARISH 2) REPAIR OF THE STAINED GLASS WINDOW IN THE WEST TOWER OF SPONDON CHURCH PUT IN BY THE SETTLER IN MEMORY OF HER PARENTS, HENRY AND SARAH HOLBROOK. ANY SURPLUS INCOME TO BE APPLIED IN PROVIDING ANNUALLY A WARM OUTER GARMENT OR COAT OR BLANKET FOR ONE OF THE OLDEST POOR MEN AND ONE OF THE OLDEST POOR WOMEN IN THE VILLAGE OF SPONDON.
