Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEE MAY APPROPRIATE ANY OF THE COTTAGES BELONGING TO THE CHARITY FOR OCCUPATION BY POOR PERSONS EITHER RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF GREAT SHELFORD, OR IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OR HAVING A STRONG CONNECTION TO THE PARISH OF GREAT SHELFORD FOR LOW CHARGES ACCORDING TO THEIR MEANS. THE TRUSTEE MAY ERECT ON LAND BELONGING TO THE CHARITY COTTAGES TO BE APPROPRIATED FOR OCCUPATION BY POOR PERSONS EITHER RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF GREAT SHELFORD, OR IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OR HAVING A STRONG CONNECTION TO THE PARISH OF GREAT SHELFORD FOR LOW CHARGES ACCORDING TO THEIR MEANS. SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENTS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEE SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF GREAT SHELFORD, OR IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OR HAVING A STRONG CONNECTION TO THE PARISH OF GREAT SHELFORD WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS.
