AS A HOME FOR AND TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF DISABLED PERSONS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE RESIDENT IN OR CONNECTED WITH THE CITY AND COUNTY OF KINGSTON UPON HULL OR THE EAST RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF YORK AND SUBJECT THERETO FOR OTHER DISABLED PERSONS AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING CARE AND ATTENTION FOR SUCH PERSONS ADMITTED IN YOUTH OR EARLY MIDDLE AGE SO AS TO GIVE THEM A SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE AND MEANS WHEREBY THEIR TALENTS MAY BE DEVELOPED TO THE ADVANTAGE OF THEMSELVES AND THE COMMUNITY
