Charitable objects

FIRSTLY, TO RELIEVE, EITHER BY DONATIONS LOANS OR OTHERWISE, THE NECESSITOUS MEMBERS THEREOF, ALSO THEIR WIVES, WIDOWS, CHILDREN OR RELATIVES; AND SECONDLY, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, AND SHOULD THE FUNDS IN THE HANDS OF THE GUILD PERMIT, TO EXTEND THE BENEFITS THEREOF TO OTHER NECESSITOUS PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN MEMBERS OF THE LIVERPOOL CORN TRADE GUILD OR THE FORMER LIVERPOOL CORN TRADE CLERK'S GUILD. ALSO TO THEIR WIVES, WIDOWS, CHILDREN OR RELATIVES.
