Providing the opportunity to play competitive snooker or billiards, in the two local leagues with people of like age.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE INSTITUTE SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE AGED IN ANY MANNER WHICH NOW IS, OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE WITHIN ASHINGTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS (HEREINAFTER CALLED “THE AREA OF BENEFIT” SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSE 3, PARAS (A) AND (C)
