TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC ARTICLES AND RECORDS OF HISTORIC INTEREST MANUSCRIPTS, BOOKS, PICTURES PHOTOGRAPHS AND OTHER OBJECTS RELAITING TO CAPTAIN COOKS LIFE AND WORK.
