Charitable objects

PROMOTING AND ASSISTING ALL OR SUCH ONE OR MORE EXCLUSIVELY OF THE OTHERS OR OTHER OF THE PURPOSES HEREINAFTER MENTIONED (SO FAR AS CHARITABLE) AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE BISHOP SHALL THINK FIT THAT IS TO SAY:-" PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF CHURCHES AND MAINTENANCE OF SERVICES THEREIN. PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF PARISH ROOMS AND HALLS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ABOVE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RELIGIOUS PURPOSES. PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF CLERICAL RESIDENCES, OTHER ROOMS AND HOSTELS FOR THE POOR. PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF SEMINARIES. PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF BURIAL GROUNDS. MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF INFIRM AND AGED PRIESTS AND CLERICS, PROVISION OF MEDICAL AID, AND BURIAL IF THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER THEIR MEANS INADEQUATE. PROVISION OF NECESSARY HOLIDAYS AND REST FOR PRIESTS AND CLERICS ENGAGED IN ACTIVE WORK IF THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER THEIR MEANS INADEQUATE. RELIEF OF POOR RCS IN THE DIOCESE OR ELSEWHERE IF A CLOSE RELATIVE OF A PRIEST OR CLERIC. PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES FOR RCS, AND OF RESIDENCES FOR TEACHERS, PROVIDED THEY FOLLOW THE DOCTRINES AND PRACTICES OF THE RC CHURCH AS DETERMINED BY THE BISHOP. PROMOTION AND AIDING OF SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE BISHOP MAY ADVANCE OR MAINTAIN THE RC RELIGION IN THE DIOCESE.
