Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE CLEAR INCOME OF THE CHARITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY WOMEN TEACHERS OR WOMEN FORMERLY EMPLOYED AS TEACHERS OR OTHER EDUCATED WOMEN WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS: PROVIDED THAT PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVE TO SUCH WOMEN QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID WHO WERE BORN IN OR RESIDE IN OR WORK IN OR HAVE WORKED IN THE COUNTY OF GREATER MANCHESTER.
