Charitable objects
TO APPLY ONE HALF OF THE INCOME FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE BOROUGH OF PRESTON AND WHO ARE NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (1) IN APPRENTICING SUCH PERSONS TO SOME USEFUL TRADE OR CALLING; (2) IN ASSISTING SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE PREPARING FOR OR ENTERING UPON ANY PROFESSION, TRADE, OCCUPATION OR SERVICE FOR THEIR ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE OR TO ENABLE THEM TO EARN THEIR LIVING; 2. TO APPLY THE REMAINING HALF OF THE INCOME IN AUGMENTING THE INCOME OF THE PRESTON RELIEF IN NEED CHARITY.
