Across the calendar year, the Society delivers an eclectic range of lectures and seminars. We offer a focal point for modern, bright ideas, drawing inspiration from a variety of subject areas including the Arts, Science and Technology, and Social Philosophy. We also present a programme specifically aimed at young people, with a view to increasing their interest in and awareness of the world.

PROMOTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE WIDENING OF PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE APPRECIATION OF ANY FORM OF LITERATURE, SCIENCE, THE ARTS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROVIDED THAT NO ACTIVITY INVOLVING PARTY POLITICS OR CONTROVERSIAL THEOLOGY SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE PURSUIT OF THESE OBJECTS.
