CONSTITUTION AND RULES REVISED 1ST APRIL, 1961
Charitable objects
GENERAL FUND. A) TO FOSTER ESPIRIT-DE-CORPS AND A SPIRIT OF COMRADESHIP AMONGST ALL RANKS OF THE CORPS OF ROYAL ENGINEERS, SERVING AND RETIRED; AND TO ENCOURAGE AND FACILITATE THEIR RENDERING SERVICE TO ONE ANOTHER. B) TO ASSIST IN FINDING EMPLOYMENT FOR EX-ROYAL ENGINEERS. C) TO GIVE PECUNIARY ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS AND TO BRING TO THE NOTICE OF APPROPRIATE ORGANISATIONS THE CASES OF MEMBERS, OR OF THEIR WIDOWS OR THEIR ORPHANS, DESERVING ASSISTANCE. D) TO OBVIATE THE BURIAL OF MEMBERS BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES. C) TO RENDER SERVICE TO EX-ROYAL ENGINEERS, THEIR WIDOWS OR DEPENDANTS AS REGARDS CLAIMS FOR PENSIONS, COMPENSATION NATIONAL HEALTH AND UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE, AND IN CONNECTION WITH BUSINESSES, PARTNERSHIPS AND AGREEMENTS
