INCOME TO BE APPLIED FOR THE BENEFIT F A) NECESSITOUS PERSONS WHO ARE, OR FORMERLY WERE, IN THE EMPLOYMENT OF KIRKSTALL FORGE LTD., B) NECESSITOUS DEPENDENTS OF ANY SUCH PERSONS; C) NECESSITOUS WIDOWS OR CHILDREN OF DECEASED PERSONS WHO FORMERLY WERE IN THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE SAID COMPANYM PROVIDED THAT:- 1) PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO THOSE WHOSE NEED FOR ASSISTANCE ARISES FROM CAUSES ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE GREAT WAR 1914 TO 1918. 2) CAPITAL FUNDS MAY BE USED AUGMENT THE INCOME, IF THE INCOME BE INSUFFICIENT TO MEED THE NEEDS OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED PERSONS.
