The Charity meets John Kimbells original intent by: Giving a cash gift annually to widows and people of pensionable age in the parish.Giving one off payments to any resident going into hospital for more than 3 nights, and cash gifts to new babies and children as they start primary and secondary school. A delivery of a loaf of bread to each household in the Parish at new year.

Charitable objects
(1) ONE POUND AND FIVE PENCE PER ANNUM TOWARDS THE REPAIR OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF BURTON DASSETT. (2) THREE POUNDS PER ANNUM IN PROVIDING A DOLE OF BREAD FOR HOUSEHOLDERS OF THE HAMLETS OF KNIGHTCOTE AND NORTH END ACCORDING TO ANCIENT CUSTOM. (3) A YEARLY SUM OF NOT MORE THAN FIFTEEN POUNDS FOR ANY OTHER PUBLIC PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF KNIGHTCOTE AND NORTH END. (4) THE REMAINDER OF THE INCOME TO BE APPLIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE POOR GENERALLY, OR OF SUCH DESERVING AND NECESSITOUS PERSONS BEING RESIDENTS. (FOR DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 28 OF SCHEME).
