TO RELIEVE PERSONS OF THE FOLLOWING CLASSES WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER OF PRIORITY:- (A) LIVERYMEN OR WIDOWS OF LIVERYMEN OF THE COMPANY. (B) FREEMEN OR WIDOWS OF FREEMEN OF THE COMPANY. (C) PERSONS WHOSE FATHER HAVE BEEN LIVERYMEN OR FREEMEN OF THE COMPANY. (D) PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN ENGAGED IN THE BUILDING TRADE IN ENGLAND AND WALES OF THE WIDOWS, SONS OR DAUGHTERS OF SUCH PERSONS.
