PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR AGED MEN OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO WERE BORN OR RESIDE IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF LONG MELFORD. INCOME FOR (1) OUTGOINGS IN RESPECT OF PROPERTY (2) PAYMENT OF YEARLY SUM OF $1 TO RECTOR OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF HOLY TRINITY, LONG MELFORD, SO LONG AS HE SHALL PREACH A SERMON ON GOOD FRIDAY IN THE PARISH CHURCH AND, SUBJECT TO PAYMENTS AFORESAID, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ALMSPEOPLE.
