1. TO IMPROVE AGRICULTURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE IN PARTICULAR BY ENCOURAGING THE BREEDING AND MAINTAINING THE PURITY OF LANDRACE PIGS. 2. TO CARRY OUT OR PROMOTE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH FOR THE EXTENSION OF KNOWLEDGE IN PARTICULAR OF PIGS AND OF THE BREEDING OF BETTER BACON AND PORT PIGS.
