RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS AGED 60 YEARS OR OVER RESIDENT WITHIN A RADIUS OF FORTY MILES OF THE BETHESDA WELSH METHODIST CHAPEL AT OLD COLWYN IN THE COUNTY OF CLWYD WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS: PROVIDED THAT PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO PERSONS QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE METHODIST CHURCH.
