TO ADVANCE THE STUDY OF GREEK LANGUAGE, LITERATURE, HISTORY AND ART IN THE ANCIENT, BYZANTINE AND MODERN PERIODS. TO PUBLISH ANNUALLY A JOURNAL CONTAINING ARTICLES BY LEADING AUTHORITIES, PLATES AND TEXT ILLUSTRATIONS, REVIEWS OF RECENT BOOKS OF IMPORTANCE TO GREEK STUDIES.
