Charitable objects
INCOME TO BE APPLIED IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- (1) PRIZES OR REWARDS, NOT EXCEEDING 10S. IN VALUE IN ANY ONE CASE TO CHILDREN BONA FIDE RESIDENT IN GREAT STEEPING WHO ARE SCHOLARS OF AT LEAST TWO YEARS STANDING OF SOME PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OR SCHOOLS, TO BE APPLIED FOR THEIR TUITION FEES OR THEIR MAINTENANCE OR BENEFIT. (2) IN THE SUPPLY OF GOODS IN KIND OR AID IN SICKNESS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE POOR OF THE PARISH OF GREAT STEEPING. (FOR FULL DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 20 OF SCHEME OF 22 DECEMBER 1897.)
