Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF THE SICK IN THE AREA OF SOUTHERN CUMBRIA IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS THE "AREA OF SOUTHERN CUMBRIA" IS THAT AREA BOUNDED BY THE SEA AND BOUNDARIES OF LAND AS FOLLOWS: FROM THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER GILPIN TO STAVELY-THE WEST SHORE OF WINDERMERE IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION TO WRAY CASTLE AND THEN IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION TO SKELWITH BRIDGE, HARDKNOTT PASS, BOOT, ESKDALE GREEN, SANTON BRIDGE, DRIGG AND THE COAST.
