Charitable objects
(1) ASSISTING PERSONS OF LIMITED MEANS, WHETHER MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY OR NOT, AND WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, IN CASES OF SOCIAL HARDSHIP OR ECONOMIC MISFORTUNE, TO FIND HOUSING OR LIVING ACCOMMIDATION AT SUCH RENTS AND UPON SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS MAY BE APPROPIATE TO THEIR MEANS; AND (2) RELIEVING AND PREVENTING SUFFERING CAUSED BY SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES AND IN PARTICULAR BY HOUSING PROBLEMS OR BY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILL-HEALTH BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A COUNSELLING SERVICE FOR THE GIVING OF INDIVIDUAL COUNCELLING AND PRACTICAL ADVICE.
