THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE TO RELIEVE SICK OR ELDERLY PEOPLE RESIDENT IN BEDFORD AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, OR OTHER OPINIONS BY MAKING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS, ASSOCIATIONS OR CHARITIES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION, LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, CARE AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR SUCH SICK OR ELDERLY PEOPLE.
