Charitable objects
TO APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF HIGH HALSTOW WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS: PROVIDED THAT IN APPLYING THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO PERSONS QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID WHO ARE WIDOWS. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 27(2) AND (3) OF SCHEME 3RD AUGUST 1981).
