TO ADVANCE THE KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY BY PUBLISHING TRANSCRIPTS, ABSTRACTS, INDEXES, LIST AND GUIDES OF AND TO THE MANUSCRIPTS AND ANY OTHER DOCUMENTARY SOURCES FOR THE HISTORY OF WILTSHIRE AND BY STIMULATING INTEREST IN AND PROTECTING THOSE SOURCES.
