THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE CLEAR INCOME AND AT THEIR DISCRETION THE WHOLE OR PART OF THE ENDOWMENTS OF THE CHARITY IN ASSISTING STUDENTS TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR COURSE OF STUDY, TRAINING OR RESEARCH WHEN THIS IS SERIOUSLY IMPEDED BY ILLNESS, DISEASE OR OTHER PHYSICAL INFIRMITY. ("STUDENTS" SHALL MEAN PERSONS WHO ARE WHOLLY OR MAINLY ENGAGED IN A COURSE OF STUDY,TRAINING OR RESEARCH AT ONE OF THE UNIVERSITIES OR OTHER INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM).
