Charitable objects
1. A YEARLY SUM OF ú2 TO BE PAID TO THE VICAR OF ABERGAVENNY FOR THE TIME BEING FOR SO LONG AS HE UNDERTAKES THE READING OF WELSH PRAYERS IN THE PARISH CHURCH EACH FRIDAY. 2. SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENT AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED,HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS.
