INCOME TO BE PAID TO AN EQUAL NUMBER OF MEN AND WOMEN IN NEEDY CIRCUMSTANCES OF GOOD CHARACTER AND REPUTATION WHETHER MARRIED, SINGLE, WIDOWS OR WIDOWERS BEING MEMBERS OF SOME CHRISTIAN CHURCH OR CHRISTIAN DENOMINATION BUT OTHERWISE IRRESPECTIVE OF CREED WHO HAVE LIVED IN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF HALIFAX FOR TWENTY CONSECUTIVE YEARS PREVIOUSLY. THE AMOUNT TO EACH PERSON TO BE AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE BUT SUBJECT TO A MAXIMUM OF $20 FOR RECIPIENT IN ANY ONE YEAR. THE RECIPIENTS TO BE SELECTED BY THE TRUSTEES.
