THE BUREAU IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF BENEFITTING THE COMMUNITY IN THE BOROUGH OF SOUTH TYNESIDE. A) BY ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL WELFARE AND B) BY RELIEVING PORVERY. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF THE CONSTITUTION).
