Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Society's objectives are to further the research and knowledge into prevention and management of Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida. It has over 190 members from 29 different countries, and holds an annual scientific meeting (ASM) every year where research and knowledge are shared and disseminated. It is active in supporting folate fortification of flour to prevent neural tube defects.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO HYDROCEPHALUS AND SPINA BIFIDA AND FOR THIS PURPOSE ONLY TO BRING TOGETHER WORKERS IN DIFFERENT FIELDS WHO HAVE A COMMON INTEREST IN HYDROCEPHALUS AND SPINA BIFIDA SO THAT THEY MAY BE AIDED IN THEIR JOINT ENDEAVOUR TO PREVENT, CURE,OR ALLEVIATE THESE CONDITIONS.
