TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE DISTRICT OF THREE RIVERS IN THE COUNTY OF HERTFORDSHIRE (AND MORE PARTICULARLY THAT PORTION OF THE AFORESAID COMMUNITY RESIDING IN RICKMANSWORTH) AND SURROUNDING AREAS ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS.
