Charitable objects
(A)TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE AND INTERSTS OF THE DEAF, DEAFENED, HARD OF HEARING AND DEAF-BLIND. (B)TO ACT AS AN ADVISORY AND CONSULTATIVE BODY ON ALL MATTERS AFFECTING THE WELFARE AND INTERESTS OF ALL HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE. (C)TO PROMOTE CO-OPERATION WITH AND BETWEEN LOCAL AUTHORITIES, AREA HEALTH AUTHORITES AND STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS WORKING ON BEHALF OF ALL HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE. (D)TO WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROYAL NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR THE DEAF.
