TO BE APPLIED BY THE TRUSTEES IN SUCH MANNER AS THEY THINK BEST FOR THE BENEFIT OF "THE BENEFICIARIES" AS HEREINAFTER DEFINED. THE EXPRESSION (THE BENEFICIARIES" MEANS AND INCLUDES PERSON WHEATHER MALE OR FEMALE WHO RESIDE OR RESIDED AT ANY TIME WITHIN THE REPUBLIC OF CHILE AND WHO SERVED IN THE NAVAL MILITARY OR AIR FORCES OR THE MERCHANT NAVY OR AUXILIARY SERVICES OF THE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH OF NATIONS OR WHO OTHERWISE HELPED THE EFFORTS OF THE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH OF NATIONS DURING THE WAR 1914-18 OR DURING THE WAR 1939-45 AND THE WIVES HUSBANDS WIDOWS WIDOWERS CHILDREN AND DEPENTENTS OR PERSONS (WHETHER ALIVE OR DEAD) WHO RESIDE OR RESIDED AN SSERVED AS AFORESAID.
