TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE IMPROVEMENT AND PROTECTION OF THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE AND ITS TOWNS AND VILLAGES AND STIMULATE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND ENJOYMENT OF THE COUNTRYSIDE. TO ACT AS A CENTRE FOR ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON MATTERS AFFECTING THE PLANNING, IMPROVEMENT AND PROTECTION OF THE COUNTRYSIDE AND AIM TO CREATE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE ISSUES INVOLVED.
