(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE SIKH RELIGION (2) THE MAINTENANCE OF THE GURDWARA FOR WORSHIP, FOR THE CELEBRATION OF SIKH RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, FOR THE CONDUCT AND REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGES AND FOR THE CONDUCT OF FUNERAL RITES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SIKH RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES (3) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AMONG MEMBERS OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM (INCLUDING IN CONNECTION THEREWITH THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A LIBRARY) (4) THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS IN LIFE FOR THE PERSONS FOR WHOM THE FACILITIES ARE PRIMARILY INTENDED, THAT IS TO SAY MEMBERS OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT SUCH FACILITIES ARE TO BE AVAILABLE TO THE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE
