1. TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC A LOCAL HISTOY MUSEUM IN MEVAGISSEY. 2. TO WORK FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF MEVAGISSEY AS FROM TIME TO TIME CONSTITUTED BY STIMULATING INTEREST IN AND CARE FOR THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF THE SAID TOWN AND BY ENCOURAGING THE PRESERVATION OF FEATURES FO GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY OR HISTORIC INTEREST THEREIN.
