A) TO ASSIST MEMBERS AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS ON DISCHARGE OR TRANSFER TO THE ARMY RESERVE TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT SUCH MEMBERS OR NON-MEMBERS BEING IN DISTRESS THROUGH POVERTY. B) TO GIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS OR TO THEIR WIDOWS AND CHILDREN WHO ARE IN DISTRESSED CIRCUMSTANCES THROUGH POVERTY. C) TO HELP DESERVING OLD MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS SUCH MEMBERS OR NON-MEMBERS BEING IN NEEDY CIRCUMSTANCES THROUGH POVERTY AND UNABLE TO OBTAIN WORK. D) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
