RELIEVING THOSE WHO ARE TEMPORARILY IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AND WHO ARE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING CLASSES:- A) PERSONS WHO ARE SERVING OR WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ROYAL NAVY, THE ROYAL MARINES, THE WOMEN'S ROYAL NAVAL SERVICE OR QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S ROYAL NAVAL NURSING SERVICE; B) DEPENDENTS OF THE AFORESAID PERSONS.
