TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF HORTICULTURE WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE CONDITIONS OBTAINING IN LAKELAND AND WITHIN THE ABOVE AREA TO PROMOTE AND FACILITATE CO-OPERATION BETWEEN ALL HORTICULTURAL ORGANISATIONS AND TO SERVE THE INTERESTS OF ALL HORTICULTURISTS.
