Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AMONG MEN FORMERLY RESIDENT AT CARRINGTON HOUSE, DEPTFORD, LONDON SE8, AND OTHER PERSONS LIVING IN DEPTFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY MEANS OF SERVICES HELD AT EVELYN HALL, STAUNTON STREET, DEPTFORD, AND BY ANY OTHER PRACTICAL MEANS, PROVIDING RELIEF FOR THOSE IN POVERTY AS OCCASION DEMANDS, BUT SO THAT IN ALL RESPECTS ITS OBJECTS ARE CHARITABLE IN THE LEGAL SENSE AND NO FUNDS RECEIVED BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE APPLIED OTHERWISE THAN IN FURTHERANCE OF THE SOCIETY'S STRICTLY CHARITABLE RELIGIOUS OBJECTS.
