THE FURTHERANCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF ORCHIDACEOUS PLANTS BY ENCOURAGING THE CULTIVATION OF THESE PLANTS, GATHERING AND DISSEMINATING PARTICULARS OF THEIR CULTIVATION, THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS AND SHOWS, AND IN OTHER WAYS, AND IN GENERAL TO UNDERTAKE ANY ACTIVITIES THAT SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE SOCIETY IS CONSTITUTED.
