TO RELIEVE POOR PERSONS RESIDING IN THE GREATER LONDON AREA BY PROVIDING AND PROMOTING THE PROVISION OF FREE LEGAL ADVICE, ASSISTANCE AND OTHER FREE LEGAL SERVICES WHICH SUCH PERSONS WOULD BE UNABLE OTHERWISE TO OBTAIN BY REASON OF THEIR LACK OF MEANS.
