Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CLUB SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF, AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR, THE AGED IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS NOW, OR HEREINAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE, CHARITABLE WITHIN THE PARISH OF DRAYTON, IN THE COUNTY OF OXFORDSHIRE (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE ‘AREA OF BENEFIT’). IN PARTICULAR BY UNDERTAKING THE MANAGEMENT OF THE CLUB PREMISES AND THE AREA OF LAND ASSOCIATED WITH IT, KNOWN AS THE CAUDWELL DAY CENTRE HELD UNDER THE TERMS OF AN ORIGINAL LEASE DATED 17TH JULY 1970 AND SUBSEQUENTLY RENEWED BY AGREEMENT OF THE CAUDWELL FAMILY.
