(A) TO FOSTER THE SPIRIT OF THE REGIMENT BY: (I) MAINTAINING CONTACT BETWEEN PAST AND PRESEN MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENT ETC FOSTERING MUTUAL FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THEM AND PROVIDING FOR SOCIAL GATHERINGS AND SPORTING EVENTS FOR THEM. (II) OROMOTING ESRIT DE CORPS, COMRADESHIP AND WELFARE OF THE REGIMENT AND PRESERVING TRADITIONS. (B) RELIEF OF HARDSHIP BY: BENEFITING MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION OR OF PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION O OF PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE WORCESTERSHIRE AND SHERWOOD FORESTERS REGIMENT AND THE WORCESTERSHIRE REGIMENT AND THE SHERWOOD FORESTERS (NOTTINGHAMSHIRE & DERBYSHIRE REGIMENT) AND THEIR DEPENDENTS WHO ARE IN NEED OR DISTRESS.
