Charitable objects
TO KEEP THE CHURCH OF CHRIST CHURCH AT SOUTHGATE, AND THE PEWS THEREIN, AND THE COMMUNION TABLE, FONT, PULPIT AND READING DESK AND ALL OTHER THINGS USED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF DIVINE SERVICE IN THE SAME CHURCH, IN A PROPER STATE OF CLEANLINESS, AND TO PAY THE WAGES OR PART OF THE WAGES OF ANY ORGANIST, CLERK, SEXTON, PEW OPENER, OR PEW OPENERS, OR OTHER SERVANT OR SERVANTS WHOM THEY MIGHT THINK FIT TO EMPLOY FOR THE PURPOSES AFORESAID - AND GENERALLY TO PAY AND APPLY THE SAID INTEREST FOR SUCH PURPOSES AND IN SUCH MANNER AS THEY SHOULD THINK MOST CONDUCIVE TO THE PROPER AND DECENT CELEBRATION OF DIVINE SERVICE IN THE SAID CHURCH.
