Charitable objects

(1) FOR THE RELIEF OF SUCH MEMBERS AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE TERRITORIAL ARMY, THE TERRITORIAL ARMY VOLUNTEER RESERVE AND THE ARMY CADET FORCES IN THE COUNTIES OF KENT, SURREY AND SUSSEX OR THEIR DEPENDANTS AS SHALL BE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AND FOR THE PROVISION OF SUCH WELFARE FACILITIES FOR ANY TERRITORIAL ARMY VOLUNTEER RESERVE UNIT OR ARMY CADET FORCE UNIT IN SUCH COUNTIES AS WOULD INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE UNIT CONCERNED. (2) ON THE FAILURE OF THE FOREGOING TRUSTS FOR THE PAYMENT OF BOTH INCOME OR CAPITAL TO ANY OTHER CHARITABLE TRUST IN THE UNITED KINGDOM ESABLISHED FOR THE RELIEF OF MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN OR THEIR DEPENDANTS.
